I strove for authenticity, but, by having a panel where one character appears larger in the foreground than another in the background, I accidentally created something more artistically complex than that incurious hack managed in 34 years of cartooning. Shrug emoji!
I sketched this one back when it was somewhat timely, but never got around to inking it. But then I got a cool tablet with a stylus and wanted to test out the workflow of making a strip on it. It was fun! And way easier to use when also looking after a very mobile eight month old.
